I've been doing lotsa browsing lately. Oh what the heck, I do browsing like everyday. Hehe. I've came across Junkonline since years back but I kinda stop browsing them because I never actualy bookmarked them anywhere. Now I've got it feeding from my Google Reader.
And I think Malaysian underground music scene is awesome. Way better than that ridiculous AF and OIAM shites. Currently, most of my Malay gfs are going rather crazy over this gal ,Yuna.I came to know about her from the 8tv show , The Hoppers & Ahli Musik and lately more from my friends. She's alright. I will support her. Hehe.

Lucky I'm in Love...
Hehe...What are you guys thinking eh? *wink wink
I'm hooked. I'm falling for it. I'm falling for Mraz and Caillat. I love them both. I love Mraz for his laid back and down to earth attitude. I love Caillat for her husky voice and she rocks with the guitar. I dreamt of being a guitarit just like her but I'm crappy with the guitar and so is my voice. I only manage to top hits in karaoke sessions.Hehe.
I wouldn't think I'll be lucky enough if I'm in love with my BFF.Look at it this way.One of my BFF is a girl, ouch, I'll be a lesbo. No no, no way! Haha. Another one of my many BFF is a guy. More ouch. I think he'll drive me nuts all through the relationship and I'll be wishing everyday that I can strangle him to death from all those annoying remarks and jokes.LOL!

Mutton Curry : Success Story!
Woot, Adliana!!! Your awesome curry recipe is the bomb girl!!! I tried making the curry this time using mutton. Fresh Australian mutton from Tesco. Haha. From all my previous attempts making my own style of curry which obviously was lacking in vital curry ingredients, I'm proud to announce that my mutton curry kicks ass! Haha!
What's really great about mutton is mainly the fat in the meat itself. I never bother to de-fat the meat because fat brings flavour people! Everything in measurement and timing was just perfect this time. I didn't overdo on the coconut milk either, meaning it's still an okay , eatable, non-uber fatty doze of coconut milk. And yeah, the mutton's fat really helps to give that extra goaty flavour in the curry. Simply imagine, the melting fat oozes and blend into the curry mix. Super delicious.
A two thumbs up for Ad's Curry Recipe! Curry makers newbies, please have a go at the recipe!

I'm blowing you now!
A guy said that to me recently and I was thanking that it was not the other way around. LOL! Alright, the point here is if you have to say something, say it properly and correctly. You never knew what people may intrepret from your sentence. Say it right okay people!
This guy is actually a very bubbly, friendly and talented hair stylist. He's like the second male hair stylist that I've met that is ever so chatty and really good at PR with his customers. The first stylist I met years back was a tad on the queer side so you know what I mean right. Most gays are over the top friendly but they are always the best in the industry. I love them gays. They are so good at fashion!
Okay back to this recent male stylist whom I suspect is a straight guy. Haha. First impression, I thought he's a Chinese. When he started speaking more and more to me, he appears to be like one of those mix Malays. Finally, I totally gave up guessing on his ethnics when he gave me his name card at the cash counter. It appears to be some Mat Salleh name. So I guess, he's a Malaysian, Eurasian.
While styling and making me look pretty, gosh, this guy is like non-stop killing me with styling terms, lamenting on his ex gf hair problems which I thought was totally unrelated to my problem, haha, and the very remark he made which I entirely agreed with him and I was like literally putting my faith on him to make me look good! I've never had anyone, a hair stylist for that matter literally said bluntly on my face something like this."The moment I saw you, I knew that I need to do something with your hair. I so 'geram' seeing your hair." Damn, I know it's all so messy and unruly. Hehe. Since we both were talking like old friends, so it was alright. I didn't mind him scrutinizing my hair and lifting my hair's soul from dead to alive and kicking!
Hey, that's it for now. I'm crapping way too much details.
On a side note, I need to learn to blow dry my hair so that it's all nicely in place and he recommended that the next time I should go for hair straightening instead of the spaghetti-like rebonding treatment. And if you guys wanna get your hair cut by him, pay him a visit at A Cut Above, Sunway Pyramid branch. Look out for that petite, chirpy, fair guy! And guess what, hair stylist also do blog!Hehe.

Impression/Day count going down!
Woa...so much impact if you don't post anything for more than 3 days. On a normal day with at least one post per day, I will get page impression of at least 30ish to the maximum of 80ish. I know it's not that much compared to others like you people because mainly I didn't promote about this blog to others and have effort to drop comments on other blogs too.
I've slowed down on writing for the past couple of days because I was confused, caught up with other things and unconsciously abandon this blog once again. It ain't helping the least bit to bring up the blog impression. Oh yeah, impression is the Google Adsense counter for how many views that you receive per day for your site. I'm telling you, making money with Adsense is hard work and you need lotsa effort and preserverance. For some really good reason, I need someone to kick me hard in the butt to keep me moving. I had a mere 9 page impression yesterday and that was super pathetic.
And on a side note, I'm actually trying to promote another blog. It's a bike blog. Click here. I'm thinking to put Nuffnag over on that site and Adsense on this site. We'll see at the end of the month, which ad is making the most turnover.

Oopps...Flabby!
You see when you start shaking your legs and you feel flabs of flesh moving in rhythm right at your thigh area, that is not a good sign. You need to tone your body muscle. I don't have issues with being overweight because I'm actually a tad underweight. Haha. But the thing is now, I feel that I need to have a tone body. I don't want to have flabby flesh!
Being underweight and gaining a kilo is like almost impossible for me. It will happen I suppose only and only if I stuff my body with oil and fat for 6 times a day which I'm not ever going to be like that. A friend of mine suggests that I should do weight exercises. It's like the more exercises you make, the hungrier you get, thus you will eat more and you will also need some calories burning activities to kick out those extra calories intake. The problem with underweight people is if you eat a lot, your tummy will be the first place to get the fat attack. You'll notice a tummy and ouch, it looks ugly if you are wearing a cute, body hugging baby-T.
Besides weight exercises like dumbbells and so on, I've tried Pilates. Man, my body aches for two days after one pilates exercise and since then, I never came around doing them again. Haha. But I think I should stick back to it because I can see the difference in my abs. It's a really excellent abs work out and it strengthen your spine and upper body area. Flat, toned abs coming up soon. Like the saying goes, "No pain , no gain".
Say no to Flabs! Hehe.

Head to Toe Swimsuit
Peering outside the window checking out on those hunky men in trunks I spotted something rather peculiar. No way, the guy actually has a 6 packs and he's looking good. I wish my babes were there with me to gawk away in glory. Hehe... Oh yeah, I wish it was a scenic view of men and women in skimpy bathing suits trying to get a tan somewhere on a beautiful sandy beach of Australia. So much of wishful thinking eh!
Okay coming back to the peculiar part.
I looked and I looked hard. I finally figured that one of them is actually a female and she's trying to teach another lady friend of hers to master the breast strokes leg kicking with the float. Apparently, this very lady had a pretty weird gear on for her swimming attire. I spotted her wearing a cap. Okay, it's sure is hot out there , but swimming with a cap ? And I'm talking about that full fledged baseball cap, not a swimming cap alright.
I was thinking, oh yeah, probably this is one of those Muslim swimsuit wear, commercially known as the Burqini (I just got to know this from Google. Hehe). However, from what I can vividly remember , that lady definitely wasn't wearing one of those Burqinis. She was actually spotting on a complete, long sleeved, long pants diving suit. She also had a cap on and later on, I saw her putting on a pair of gloves and waded in the water. I was like WHAT???
I don't know if her fashion statement is close enough to be called as a Burqini, the head to toe Muslim swimsuit. At least if she would have put on the proper Burqini, she would certainly looked pretty in it. But with the cap and gloves , I'm just baffled beyond words.

Conquest of the Galaxy :Mars
"INVASION ALERT: Condors is Landing in KL – Fasten Your Seatbelts!"
That's the promo tagline to highlight the return of the Condors yet again right here in KL next week. But that's not the promo picture that I got from their red color flier. I google for that picture above. Hehe.
You may be asking, "Condors...what?"
Check this out:
"The sensational 11-member, all-male Japanese dance troupe Condors is returning to KL after performing to packed halls here eight years ago!
The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur, and The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac), in cooperation with Embassy of Japan are proud to present Conquest of the Galaxy: Mars from 19 March to 21 March. This three-day only performance is part of their tour, which is supported by the Agency of Cultural Affairs.
Condors has conquered their homeland and turned the Japanese contemporary dance scene on its head. In fact, tickets for one of their performances in Tokyo were snapped up the very day it went on sale! And it doesn’t stop there – Condors Mania has spread all over the world and the troupe often performed to sell out shows overseas as well.
Wherever they go, their performance always sends audiences spinning through amazement, shock, and laughter. From their trademark Japanese high-school uniform outfits to their liberal use of shtick and overblown video imagery, this company redefines what a dance performance can and should be. The troupe is also well-known for its satirical treatment of Japanese pop culture." - Quoted from Japan Foundation KL
Still dazed?? Check out About Condors right at their official site.
I'm still a newbie myself to their performance concept but simply imagine the group from Stomp making their performance but this time with a zest of the Oriential Japanese style with more whacky, upbeat performance for sure to uproar the audience in a delightful frenzy.

Lamb Shoulder and Gourmet Burger Yasz's Style
A blackened lamb shoulder. It's not over burnt, it's just too much of soy sauce. Some tehnical recipe error there. However, the meat is juicy and not over cooked. Just the color may give you a bit of a shock. That's all. I got a pretty good rating for this meal, so it's not that bad at all.As long as the other person who eats it is happy, I'm happy!
I took some effort to blanched both the asparagus and brocolli for a couple of minutes in boiling water and quickly transfer them into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. The end result, you get a crispy, cooked vegetables.
This is the gourmet burgers and fries. It's a gourmet because I made the burgers out of freshly minced beef and mixed some spices like minced rosemary, salt, pepper, a whole egg and minced red onions. You can mix other things too. It depends totally on what you have in your kitchen and yes your creativity of taste! For the fries, I used the normal fries you can buy in the store but surely it'll taste better if you chopped the potatoes yourself into big, fat wedges. After deep frying them, I sprinkled half of them with the normal salt, pepper and paprika. And the other half, I sprinkled the hot fries with vinegar just like the old English recipe of eating fries with salt and vinegar. Yummy!
There are all so yummy and most importantly home made so you need not worry about the high salt and oil content in here.

I gave her my Gourmet Burger recipe and that surely got both of us salivating! A two thumbs up for this recipe because it sounds so yummy!

The Last Lecture
I got a hold of this book and had a quick sneak read of the entire book. Frankfully, I wouldn't have known about Randy Pausch or wouldn't even understood why people posted YouTube clips of Pausch giving a last lecture. Thanks to Oprah, my all time favourite show, and on a little note, I think everyone in Malaysia should watch more of Oprah among other things. Okay I got a bit derailed from topic. Okay thanks to Oprah, I finally got introduced to the late Randy Pausch through one of Dr. Oz's shows in Oprah.
A quickie on Randy Pausch :
"On September 18, 2007, computer science professor Randy Pausch stepped in front of an audience of 400 people at Carnegie Mellon University to deliver a last lecture called “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.” With slides of his CT scans beaming out to the audience, Randy told his audience about the cancer that is devouring his pancreas and that will claim his life in a matter of months. On the stage that day, Randy was youthful, energetic, handsome, often cheerfully, darkly funny. He seemed invincible. But this was a brief moment, as he himself acknowledged.
Randy’s lecture has become a phenomenon, as has the book he wrote based on the same principles, celebrating the dreams we all strive to make realities. Sadly, Randy lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on July 25th, 2008, but his legacy will continue to inspire us all, for generations to come. ". - Quoted from http://www.thelastlecture.com/
It's totally inspiring to have someone who battled their last feat in life out of cancer and in the end left the world with an excerpt of hope from his book for everyone to ponder and hopefully mend that little defects they are doing right now in their life. As I flipped through the pages, I was glad that I am pretty much on the right track when it comes to having the right attitude in life so that life is totally lived and not wasted.
The Last Lecture is yet another excellent motivational read and if you happen to go to the mall, do take a quick pit stop to the bookstore and read a bit of this book and it's a whole lot better if you just grab and buy it!
and...
To Randy,
Thank you for the inspirations and May God Bless you!

Hey this is fun! I reckon we need a wee bit of fun around here. Let's check this out!
1. Do you think you are hot?
Shouting out loud, "Yeah!"
2. Upload your favourite picture of you.
3. Why do you like that picture?
Because I was making goofy faces. I would rather look like crap than looking super gojas because I want people to see me as what I am inside and not judging me merely from the first impression and also I don't like people to take advantage of me. So I rather look like crap.
4. When is the last time you ate pizza?
Lunch time with colleagues sometime end of last year I think.
5. The last song you listen to?
No song. Just the sound of cars, boys shouting from the pool, water flowing from the water filter and the fan spinning.
6. What are you doing right now besides this?
Rocking on the chair, talking to my pup and flipping to Take A Break to check on the questions list.
7. What name do you prefer besides yours?
Always love my name especially this one, Yasz. People start calling me this name when I was 12 because apparently people with cockney accent have a knack to making your name sounds uber cool! Hehe.
8. 5 people I tag and I know they won't do anything about it. Hehe.
1. Ms. Kenzo
2. Ad
3. Dayah
4. Hon Weng
5. Ser
9. Who is number 1?
She was my junior from my lovely school Convent. She'll be one of them kids who goes around calling me "Kak Yasmin" up until now. Haha. She's actually the younger sister to my late friend Balkis. I remember having really fond memories doing crazy things as little kids with her. She was really an awesome, smart girl!
10. Number 3 is having relationship with?
I have no idea. That I have to ask her! Hehe.
11. Say something about number 5.
Oh she's my oldest sister. She used to blog a lot last time because that will be the only way we can keep track of her activities. Haha. Since she got pregnant and busy with her cute lil rugrat, she had slowed down so much on her rambling activities. She calls home a lot so I don't have to track her down from her blog anymore. LOL!
12. How about number 4?
He's like the god of Weng-ism but I don't worship him. Haha. I can say, he's one guy that I can look up to because although he's just crazy, wicked in his own way and laughs like a hooligan, he's smart and I can have really good, mature conversations every time with him. He likes to read books and we probably listen to the same kind of music, so yeah, I can't help worshiping him a lil bit. LOL! And I'm tagging you here because I know you are reading this and heck he doesn't have a blog.
13. Who is number 2?
He's a friend of a friend because apparently we both know the same person, Naz. So we get to relate things a lil bit. By far I think he's the longest online friend that I've had up until today. Most of them just gone mia after sometimes. I know him a lot through his blog and just like me, we had multiple blogs before the current one now because we just got tired of the old blog and ended up deleting them. We used to hang out a couple of times and still keep in touch until now. I would really love to check out his new looks and have interesting, catching up conversations with this guy.

I dreamt of couple pounds of Steak!
I was in somewhere in the US with friends and we were in some kind of a food chain outlet that serves really awesome steaks. I was greedily ordering like everything in the menu because I had that sudden knack for eating meat! All I wanted that time was some juicy, red meat. A friend of mine was asking, " You sure u are ordering that. It's not halal you know." Haha..
Well, technically none of us knew if the meat is halal or kosher. I simply replied to him," I don't care. As long as it's not pork, I'm eating!". I was really desperate and dying for some good pounds of read meat. Haha.
Oh well...it was just a dream and I'm salivating already!
Anyways, today's menu is some Gourmet Burgers and Extra Hot Fries! Yummy!

I need a Capo for this song!
After a really futile attempt to strum chords for Kau Ilhamku , we decided to ditch the song and search for something at YouTube. We came across a tutorial for "More than words" by this Aussie guy ; joeldavismusic whom I am assuming is cute because I less than three his voice. Hahaha..
However there's a catch. We need to have a Capo. We were like Capo WHAT??? Hahaha..Anyways, I've found something on the web to make your own makeshift capo which is not going to burn your wallet at all. Check out the make your own Capo here.If you are not really a serious guitarist then I suppose you can DIY your own capo. If not, go get yourself one. It's worth the investment I suppose.

The brake is squealing. Is it a problem?
I knew that the brake has worn out once it starts to make squealing noises once you hit on the brake. I've changed both the brake pads a month ago but apparently, I'm still hearing the squealing. The noise is not as bad as before I change the pad. It starts to squeal when I hit hard on the brake. I really don't know if this is common for new brakes and the mechanic told me to not hit hard on the brake because the brake pads are still new. I guess that's why it is still making noises. A pretty high pitch one too! Hehe.
I've yet to ask other car experts from people at home about this. Anyhow, any one knows why new brake pads squeals when you hit hard on the brakes? And , does it really work to really slam on the break to wear the brake pads a little bit, thus to clear or reduce the noise?
