Joy Ride!

I went cruising with dad on a super-touring motorbike during the weekend. It was absolutely thrilling and a whole lot of fun. The best part was when my whole body started to shake or was it vibrating when dad reached the speed of 180km/h with the bike. He told me that he had tried pushing up until 210km/hour before this. I think he did that when he was riding by himself.

I'll post some pixies later and I'm glad I've given it a go. Though I wasn't exactly the one steering the wheels, being the passenger was just as great.

---I tried to upload those pics...but the files are too big in size. So I get nothing here. Check out the pics at my frenster instead...

Artsy-fartsy!

Hallo Alles! Hello All!

I did get to watch Pirates of The Carribean. A real comedy and absolutely superb. I don’t mind watching it again and enjoy with the rest of the movie-goers laughing our lungs out at the cinema hall. Other than that, I never knew there is a gallery/museum at KLCC apart from the Petronas Gallery. It is a great place to visit and shop for all you art & culture lovers out there.

The gallery is called Pucuk Rebung Gallery Museum. If I’m not mistaken, it belongs to the Kelantanese Royal King family (Royal King?? is there such word?? haha). Although the place is not exactly huge, but surely it is packed with a whole lot of things. There are wooden masks from Sarawak, acrylic paintings, abstract paintings, traditional Malay clothes, crafts of all sorts and I was particularly amazed at the wooden hand-made ladder with some intricate cravings on it. It is unique and definately a collectible. Among all the things there, I really adore those abstract painting from one of the artists but I could not remember his name though, Wei something...I don’t know.

His paintings are simply adorable, attractive, cute, very cultury , vibrant and colourful with a hidden message of love in each of the paintings. Most of the paintings are blue and potray a cartoony image of a huge, fat fish which is painted in a really bright blue. On the inside of the fish, there are some fun love signs, with some typical wooden kampung house and coconut trees surrounding the compound and animals roaming around happily. The message is really simple I guess. It is all about Love. The title of those paintings is something lovey-dovey too which I could not remember exactly what. Hehe. About the pricing, the bigger one costsRM980 while some other small ones probably in the size of 4Rs cost RM60 each. I would really love to get one of those paintings if only I have my own house right now or probably living on my own now. It is pointless to decorate our current house at the moment.

Over and Over Again.

I'm stuck at home this weekend. That's how things appear to be as for now. Nevertheless, I had a brilliant time last weekend. The lepaking moments which started from 1pm until 5.30 am the next morning. Just Superb!! And the following day, I got to watch Superman Returns was another highlight of the day. But I was silly enough to actually miss the Wimbledon Men Single's Final & the 'Zizou Headbutt' moment. I'm putting all blames to that couch we have in the living room because for every single time I ever sit on it, inevitably I'll be in the land of dreamland in a matter of minutes.

I wanted to go watch The Pirates of the Carribean 2 this weekend but I haven't found anyone that's keen enough to go watch. Wavex is suggesting me to go down to Damansara to watch it at the new Cineleisure. I don't know about that because I don't have the knack to drive 45 minutes all the way there. Not this weekend though. Supposedly, I am trying to save some gas money this week. That's why I never like driving a continental car mainly because of the major fuel consumption and a definate no-no for anycheapskates like me. Hahaha. But let's face it. Anyone who drives a Kancil probably spend like RM15 a week but I have to spend like RM40 every week with that purple monster. *Sigh. Okay enough already about cars!

Lately, I just thought that I need something new in my life. I don't know what it is that I'm seeking. My mundane and dull life is getting the better of me. So what exactly do I want? I'm not saying that I'm not content with my life right now. As a matter of fact, I couldn't be happier. Something is amiss though. I think I do know what it is but I just don't see it coming around...ever...for now, probably NO. For later, maybe that'll be a long 'later', probably YES.

P.S: The title of the post is actually a title of a song from Claps Your Hand Say Yeah. I'm hooked on it and thanks to Kevin Rose for that. If you are not a geek like me, I doubt that you'll know who is Kevin Rose. He's the guy who used to host TechTV.

WES!!!

I’ve been driving that 190E for over a year now and I still argue with my parents on who should keep on using and paying for the remaining debts of that car in the future. I don’t know if I’ll be loyal enough to keep WES in years to come. Okay let’s just call the car I’m currently driving and only paying for petrol as WES and a her. WES because that’s the license plate number and her because the person driving it is a girl. ;)

First and foremost, I could say that I really enjoy driving WES around. I’ve had my moments with her. Let me share those moments with you guys here. Here goes:

1. I remembered the time she failed on me and I was left stranded on the far right lane (the fast lane) of the Federal Highway. Every single time up until today, whenever I passed by Angkasapuri, I still remember those dreadful 2 hours stranded in the middle of the road alone in WES. Thank you WES. You were such a pain back then!!

2. WES stopped dead again in the middle of KL. I had some really nice AAM guys to help me out. I remember being a total jerk too because after that total stranger, AAM guy helped to loan his extra car battery so that I could move the car away from the main road, I asked him if he wanted a token or something (ie: me paying him a lil bit of money) and he didn’t say anything. But later he came to my car as if waiting for something and I just said “Thanks” and I didn’t give him shit.Haha.

3. Because WES is such a huge momma, I had and still have trouble with her whenever it is time for PARKING!!! Knowing KL and the real tight parking space, it’s always best to the the backward parking so that it’ll be easy for you to make your way out. Me, being a real mangkuk in backward parking ended up parking the normal way in this super cramped parking lot. I was having trouble to get out and I resorted to have this really nice man(who is a total stranger) to help me reversed the car and get it out of the parking so that he could park his car at my lot. I was desperate because I was rushing against time and only God knows how mega-embarresed I was then.

4.I’ve had some really disgusting experience in the WES too. I was feeling drowsy and actually puked a couple of time at the office. Office hour was over and I braved myself to drive home and yeah I thought that I was fit enough to drive. Puking or no puking, I still had to get my ass home right. Only just 5 minutes in the car, I was doing the Emily Rose’s possesed puking all over the steering wheel and over my clothes. I ended up driving home for the next 30 minutes drenched in my own puke. Thankfully, there was no horrid odour because I vomitted mostly water and some curry I had for lunch. LOL!

5. I’ve also spilled some really hot coffee all over the gearbox. I was hungry and trying to have my tea-time in the car. I didn’t know what I was thinking then but I sure panicked because I was afraid all the electronics in WES would spoil because of the hot coffee. Thankfully I arrived home safely this time with Arabica Coffee fragrance which overwhelmed my Glade Sport car fragrance.

6. Because of WES, I’m currently getting Reserved Parking lot every single day I go to class cum work.GREAAAATTT!!!

So WES if you can read this, I know you can’ t; but what I'm really trying to say is that I appreaciate and enjoy driving you. Hope we’ll have a great time together forever.
