Understanding your Sex!

It is a sadden fact to miss out on sex education in school. Although every once in a while we keep on hearing arising issues whether sex education should be compulsory in school or not , the fact of the matter is it will never materialize. Not with our seemingly backward mindset which the majority of the current population have in mind.

On the other hand, if for once you could stop blamming the authority for not doing the right things, you are entirely entitled to make the change yourself. In relevant to learning sex education, you could get your very personal tutorial from books, words of mouth ( if you could trust any) and I guess the most reliable and easily accessed source will obviously be from the Internet itself.

So there I was, finding myself browsing through the net searching for vital informations. Hehe.

I was caught up researching for informations on tampons.

Enough of the disclaimer thingy going about, let us get to the core of things.

Most people have a bad misconception and understanding of the usage and application of a tampon. Tampons are highly associated with the fear of losing one's virginity. If you really want to know, you will only lose your virginity once you have a sexual intercourse. You might also want to argue that by applying the tampon you will also lose your virginity because you will tear the hymen which is always misunderstood as the measuring indicator for one's virginity. What I am saying is that, people tend to think that if you tear your hymen, there goes your virginity.

Roughly speaking, the hymen is layers of tissue located around the opening of the vagina. Women may or may not have hymen tissue because the formation of the hymen depends on the division of the tissue. If the tissue divides incompletely , you will end up with the hymen and if the tissues divides completely there will be no hymen at all during birth. The hymen formation actually happens during the early stages of the fetal developement or in short, when females are in the womb.

Moreover, from my understanding, the hymen is very elastic. Women may end up tearing or otherwise stretching the hymen if you are highly active in certain sports activities and during intercourse. But some people may still have the hymen intact despite having sex for years and most probably will partially tear the hymen only through rough sex. It is also knowned that this very elastic and strong tissue which God has created for women will be present until the next vaginally delivered baby.

Pheww! That takes a lot of explanation isn't it.

So ladies, if you are ever caught in an arguement with a guy or another girl on tampon and virginity related matter, you will definately have your win and say on the right things if you have understood some basics about the women's body from the ramblings I have been doing a few paragraphs ago. Therefore, there should not be any fear if you wish to use the tampon and do not worry about the common first night blood stain on the bedsheet kind of craps because for all you have to know, nobody could tell whether or not you have a hymen or even a hymen tear. And if you do have a tear of the hymen, there is usually no pain nor bleeding at all, so there is no way telling on the current situation of your hymen unless if you pay a little visit to the doctor and beg to ask him/her to check on your freaking hymen. Talking about having a major paranoia on petty stuffs.

Finally, please do away with all those complicating and mostly untrue myth, people! Hopefully, you have understood a miniscule fact about your body and sex by now.
