Tell me something, what is your ideal getaway holiday?

Hanging out with the girls were nothing but sheer joy, laughter like unmanageable bunch of 'young' girls and of course, MADNESS! So we got down talking and munching at Chillies, trying to look cool and act like a bunch of " I don't give a damn on what you going to think about us", sitting there for hours on the high chair next to the bar.

Among many of the conversations, oops rephrase, among the many non-stop re-make of childhood dramas and current job loathing , we talked about holidays.

Some of them had never been outside of Malaysia for holidays. Hence, they were crying pathetically to themselves and one practically almost forcing all of us for a group, girls only holiday by next year. I count myself out of that as for now. Hehe.

Okay, heck, let's get to the point. There were three ideal getaway holidays being barked at us from three gorgeous girls. There are:

1. " My idea for a holiday is to go there and shop shop shop and shop. AND you have to drag some boys along too so that they can carry all your bags for you." Did I remember her mentioning, you should drag a boy along so that he can pay all the shopping for you?..Apparently, NO! She didn't mention that. Hehe. Dang, the drama is so lacking here people!

2. "I've never really been to a holiday outside of Malaysia before. I would love to go on those backpacking thing and don't bother about how many stars the hotels will be. Twinkle twinkle little star will just do for me!" * and some crazy streak of laughter along with it.

3. It involves staying in a hut down in Cambodia, listening to people next door shagging and going through a shoulder high 'lalang' because apparently it is suppose to be adventurous! Hehe...

2 minutes Recipes!

For the love of food and cooking, hence, yours truly were caught talking about exchanging cooking ideas and recipes with friends during the seemingly constant break time during work. I've managed to vaguely remember the recipes of two dishes. There are Lemon Fish Fillet and Butter Prawns.

Lemon Fish Fillet
* recipe is courtesy of Ah Yong aka Pek Yong

Ingredients:

Fish fillets
Sour plum ( the one sold in the jar)
Lemon juice ( he mentioned something about using just the right amount of juice, no more than the whole lemon because it'll turn the whole dish to too lemony)
Some chopped onions
Chillies ( I think?!)

Firstly, I guess you have to either deep fry the fish fillet or pan fry them. I don't suppose you can just cook the fillets into the sauce or perhaps you just can do that. Just don't stir the fish around too much so that it won't crumble into pieces.

Then, make the sauce. Chuck in everything, the sour plum, lemon juice, onions, chillies, sugar and salt for taste. If you think it tastes like a typical lemon fish you've eaten in the restaurant before, then give yourself a pat at the back and wallop the food nicely!

Butter Prawns
* recipe is courtesy of Navvie

Ingredients:

Some nice huge, fresh prawns marinated with salt, pepper, herbs if you like
Some flour
Unsalted butter
Chillies

Firstly, you need to coat those marinated prawns with flour and deep fry them. Then come the sauce. Melt the butter, add some salt and pepper for taste, add some milk or cream and make sure you don't burn the butter with high fire and when the sauce is cooked, pour them all onto the fried prawns and garnish with chopped red chillies and coriander. It should taste superb!

Probably some of you should give these recipes a go first because honestly, I haven't put my hands down and dirty with any of these recipes. Hehe. Good luck! Happy Cooking and Happy Eating!

I love KL!

It's high time for me to make that crazy turning point in my life again. Oh my god, I'm so crazy! But what the heck, I'm going for it anyway. I so wanna say goodbye to the eff-up company. Word of advise, never work with the Yindian nationals. They drive you all nuts with the drama, political and LIES! So eefing effed-up!

I know, I don't usually vent my frustrations on my blog but this is an exceptional case. Let it all out baby! I feel good.

Anyways, how was your weekend? I had really good food today. A shout out to my gf, Anim "Happy 22++ Birthday" and to my lovely sister to a lovely little rugrat gal, Kak Ser "Happy 30th Birthday"!!! and to my beruk sister, get off my back! Haha

and yea, I Love KL!
