One hour Escape!

My weekend is incomplete if I don't enjoy one of my travel frenzy. It doesn't have to be a whole day trip to some place, somewhere. What matters is simply the joy of being behind the wheels and discovering that new places along the way.

Earlier today, I declined my mum's offer to head back to Sitiawan and have that thrilling ride back to KL with Pup on his superbike. I thought I had laundry and a resume to update earlier this morning and the last bike ride I had left me with a sore back, wasn't really a tempting trip for me.

Came noon, I made a futile call to a dear friend thinking that perhaps we could go shopping because I do need to get a new watch or some really good shoes. She didn't feel like it and I thought that I should just drive around town or something.

I was heading South and on seeing that newly opened SMART Tunnel, I was damn excited to give it a try. It was okay though. Most drivers only do 60KM/H because most are pretty unfamiliar with the road surface and it does get a little bit claustrophobic in there. It took exactly 5 minutes to get from Jln Tun Razak to the Sg. Besi exit. 5 minutes ride underneath the ground is really something you know. By far, I think it's pretty safe and smooth running. Yeah.

So to really clocked that 1 hour ride from KL to that somewhere South, I kept on driving and driving, mainly on the rightest lane of the highway, going at a constant speed of roughly 110-120km/h. Most people on the middle lane were actually going only like 80-100km/h, so there's no way you can speed off at the minimum of 140km/h at any lanes at all.

I got towards somewhere and after a little spin around the place, a place which was once rather familiar to me years back, I headed back to the highway and spent the next hour and the half home. I was stuck in traffic as I approached UPM and if there wouldn't have been any congestion, I am sure that I could easily made it home in a merely 45 minutes. Yep. I kid you not. And best of all, I wasn't really speeding. 110-120 km/h all the way through. So that was kind of okay.

I'm home now, listening to Sarah Mclachlan's and sipping the soup of my Maggie. It's a good day and worth the ride.

Movie updates

Pirates of the Carribeans - At World's End ?? Something like that la the title...can't remember and don't care

We managed to catch the 6pm movie yesterday and we got good seats. It was a last minute thing because we only decided to go watch it at 5 ish pm (still at the office).Personally, I think that movie is a let down. I'll give 4/10.

Funny parts - I enjoyed laughing at them, but the crowd in the cinema didn't understand most of the inner jokes, so that kinda bring down the whole hype. The story line is pretty slow and dragging or was it just me who didn't really focus much during the show. I came in the cinema feeling absolutely hungry and I was stuck there with an empty stomach until 3 hours later. That spoils the mood altogether. And we missed the first 15 minutes of the show, so, I really don't know what we ended up missing.

By the 2nd hour through the show I think I got an sms from Mack saying that Ahi is going to get married by 16 December this year. I think it's 16. I was flabbergasted and went out of focused throughout the show. I was more like 'melayan perasaan' on ... something and yes, I was in reverie most of the time.

We all agreed that Pirates 2 is better off among the trilogies. This third one simply lacks the thrill and stock of laughter unlike the 2nd one. During dinner (post movie activity because we were dead hungry by then), Efi's (not the real name) cuzzy asked which is better, Pirates 1 or Pirates 3? We simultaneosly answered - 2! Haha. It's like none of the above, but that something else. Get the joke? Ah, don't bother understanding it.Haha

But to be fair for this movie, I think I'll give another round of it if anybody else would one to watch it again with me and if I have to pay for it, I rather watch on Ladies' Night three weeks starting from now. Hehe. Yep, I'm a cheapskate! Gagaga.

The Hill Have Eyes 2

The aftermath of the show resulted me feeling totally nauseated and having short of breath. I was struggling to breath properly while we headed back in the car. It's a must watch for those who enjoy 'thrill and sudden shock'. I think this was the first time I had to scream aloud out of sheer terror whilst watching a movie. This movie sure scares the shit out of me. Haha.

28 Weeks

This movie is nothing like the Shaun of the Dead kinda thing though the zombie is pretty much there. It is totally recommended to watch the previous part of the sequel- 28 Days. I wouldn't have been that scared watching this movie if I would have not been sandwiched between two screaming girls. One was hiding her face by my shoulder while the other was screaming every now and then. Hehe. I was hiding my face behind my hands too you see. Haha.

Spiderman 3

I don't get the point of Spidey and his bestfriend cum enemy then turned comrades started to cry!! Very unmacho thing for a super hero icon. Hehe. Otherwise, I love the laidback and super cool 80's version of the super black, bad boy spidey. That part I like. Other part, I can't remember very well. Haha. I still prefer Spider 1 and 2 though.

For an IT company, having your internet connection to go down every few minutes, what can you conclude about this particular IT company?

By the way, I am working at that company. Isn’t that ‘AWESOME’.

I'm seriously thinking about looking for another job. I don't dream about coming to work and do absolutely nothing when I accepted for this job. I made a huge mistake there but yeah, there's no regrets.

White water rafting, scuba, bungee jump, snorkeling, trekking,Kinabalu and more

Found this from 3R's link too..

White Water Kayaking in Sungai Langat (Hulu Langat)

A half-day trip that is perfect for beginners and families.

Sungai Langat is 40-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur and it wends its way through traditional Malay villages and fruit orchards. The river consists of grade 1 and 2 rapids, which provide enough excitement, but also feels safe and manageable. The run is 8kms long and takes 2 to 3 hours of paddling. With instruction and preparation time as well as picnic lunch, the whole trip takes about 4 to 5 hours.

The two-person inflatable kayaks are stable and easy to control. River guides will be on hand to teach you all the necessary skills and will guide you down the river.

For those who want a full day activity, there is also abseiling at the nearby Gabai Waterfalls. It is a spectacular site with a 50-meter long abseil that ends right in the waterfall itself. In case of rain (or to accommodate the more faint hearted), a shorter abseil can be set up.

A visit to the hot springs where you can bathe and change can also be arranged.

You will need to have:

* Your own transportation
* Wear clothes which you can get wet and swim in.
* Sandals or old shoes you can get wet and swim in
* A change of dry clothes for after the trip (2 sets are advisable if going abseiling)
* Towel, sun block and money to buy Durians or other fruits after the trip.

Nomad Adventure will provide:

* All kayaks, paddles, lifejackets and other equipment.
A dry bag for keys and cameras will be available.
* Drinks, Lunch and Snacks
* Experienced and extraordinary good-looking guides.

Cost:

* Whitewater kayaking RM 85
* Whitewater kayaking and abseiling RM130

note:
A minimum of 6 people are required for the trip.
The maximum group size is 14 people.

Wading through the river for hours....Awesome shit!

Woke up really early today because we wanted to go fishing at Bidor. It's at Kg.Poh to be exact. If you are familiar with the Bidor exit (for those who travel from KL - Sitiawan..hehe), right after the toll, make a left turn at the T-junction to get to this Kg.Poh. You'll amaze yourself once you get to the river. Well...during non-rainy days it's more like a river stream...sungei ler kalo orang payrok cakapnye...atte kamu...hehe..

Eh chop..tulis melayu la yer..baru sedap skit nak critenye..

So...kami bertiga sampai la sana pas kenyang makan nasi lemak kat RnR Sg.Buloh. Atte, kat Kg Poh tu actually rumah member bapak teman. Member lame ler kirenye. So the best part is when my mum, the avid kaki pancing, konon2 nak p memancing ler kat sungai just belakang umah uncle ni. Ngail punye ngail memang haram ikan tu nak makan umpan udang mak aku tu. Alih2, datang ler segerombolan cousin2 uncle ni..depa mai bawak jala beb!!!

Gila syok tengok depa duk menyelam sambil menjala ikan...Kirenye, jala tu wat trap ikan sungai tula.Pastu depa selam, sambil tangkap and main Picit sekuat2nya ikan2 yang dah tertrap kat jala tu. Kira cam main selok ikan gakla..Hebat sungguh depa tu. Pastu siap ade cam pistol khas lagi tu. Depa tembak ikan dalam ayak dek nun oi!!!...

Yang pistol tu depa buat sendiri gamaknye. Pistol kayu, ade cam panah kecik ala-ala torpun ler menatang pistol ni.Pastu ade cam getah lastik tu .Kire, kalu kite tembak, getak tu ler yg tembak badan ikan tu. Best !!! Pastu depa ni crita lagi, kadang2 depa bubuh bom kasi letup lubuk ikan tu. Bom tu depa guna mercun yang letup2 tu ja. Gila la tangkap ikan sungai siap pakai mercun.Hehe...Tapi tadi depa tak guna mercunla.

Pastu kirenye..kami duk harung sungei tu dr kul 9.30-1.30 petang...dahler tak bwk bekal...Hampir2 kebulur gakler jadinye...yang silap nye ,,,geng2 kami dari kl tak bawak baju salin, kalo idak, lame dah aku main selam2 ,terjun2 sungei tu...udara segar, ayark bersih, jernih, sejuk ati...ehehhe...

PAstu dah kul 1.30pm tu, azan pun dah berkumandang, kami decide utk menapak ler pulang ke umah uncle. Balik kami ikut darat la.Gilo kalo nak mudik kut sungei lagi. Mau nak sampai kul 3 lebih kot. Dan la kot p bako ikan kat tepi2 batu tu kang.Hehe..

Sampai umah uncle, bersih2 yang mana patut, pastu wife dia ajak makan. Banyak lauk lak tu. Rezeki rezeki. Memang la famili aku ni geng2 langkah kanan. Hehe..Mai tandang umah org ja, mesti la ade org offer makananan siap pakse2 suh makan tambah2 lak tu. Nasib sodap. Tambah 2 pinggan makan nasi tengahari tadi. Hehehe.

Pastu kamipun pulang ler pas kenyang perut. Mak aku cam kecundang ler takleh nk pancing ikan. Tapi takpa, dak2 tu tadi dapat kut sebakul penuh ikan2 sungai. Anak ikan kelah ade gak sekor depa dapat. Kami bwk balik setengah drp ikan2 tu siap ngan ayam hutan yang mat2 tu p tembak pagi tadi. Rezeki lagi.

Nikmat sungguh jalan2 pagi tadi.Tak sia-sia bangun awai.

The end.

What do I do when I'm mad?

So I've been tagged. Like Again. From Ms Kenzo. Hehe..

The answers to that question:

1. I start swearing with hand gestures and all. Complete set baby! Kids don't do this anywhere, OKAY! I should start slapping my wrist more often. Hehe...Hey, Syikin you so know me already by now. You got it right! Damn you are good! Hahaha

2. I'm a very SHOWY person which means I can't hide my feelings. So if I'm angry to someone, I'll always end up making faces or confront that person right in the face and ask him/her what is the problem and if possible, settle the problem there and then. I don't like to keep my grudges onto someone. So I rather explode once and for all and let go of the problem the next time I have to confront that someone again.Usually, I like to solve problems quickly. Eh this is getting astray from the topic of discussion. Oh well..whatever!

I think that's pretty much it. I try not to curse so much these days but at most time, I just can't help it. And it's really funny when I'm like driving the car and out of the sudden I start to swear like real fast and bad, my friends who happened to be in the car will automatically halt their conversation out of sheer shocked I guess because in normal conversation I never swear at all. Well not really. It depends on the kind of people I'm with really.

Ok..that's it Ms Kenzo. That's my answer.

I don't do anything stupid like stuffing up my face or try to throw tantrum to other people or anything crazy. I'm in controlled most of the times.Yeah right...well not really actually because I'm so bloody emotional during my PMS. Ouch.
